HISTORY
When Don Hugo was only 11 years old he decided to begin his life as a wanderer, picking coffee and traveling throughout Colombia. This is how he learned about coffee; for 12 years he worked and saved to buy a piece of land in his native land of Sandona, Nariño. The El Ventarron farm was the beginning of his life as a coffee producer and a source of sustenance for him and his family. He now has a couple of other small farms. One is being worked by his son Hugo and the other two by him.
Don Hugo is part of a community focused on improving their quality of life through associativity, the implementation of technologies for the production and increase of the value of their coffee.
